What you connect
On Socials writes the week. It can only post, and it can only learn, from the things you connect. Miss one, and that part does not happen.
An On Socials account
Sign up with email, or with Google or X. Add a card when you join. It is not charged for three weeks. Cancel in those three weeks and you are not charged. Stay, and it is $22 USD a month.
The business, in your words
Name, town, what you sell, who it is for, and the hero point for the week. Paste your website, your Google listing, and your social pages. The more of that On Socials can read, the closer the posts get. A trainer does not get a cafe post.
A free Buffer account, with your channels on it
Buffer is how a signed-off post leaves On Socials. The account is yours, not ours. Create it free, then connect the channels you want posted to. The free plan covers 3 channels, with 10 posts waiting on each.
Questions
Why Buffer?
X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn will not let On Socials press Post inside their apps. Buffer already has that permission, once you connect the channel there. You sign off. On Socials sends the post to Buffer. Buffer posts it.
What if I skip Buffer?
You can still get the week, the replies, and the Friday note. Post this will copy the caption and open the channel. You tap Post yourself. Nothing is published for you.
Which channels can I connect?
In Buffer, connect the ones you actually use. X and LinkedIn can take a text post. Instagram and TikTok need a picture or a video on the post, or Buffer will not send it. The free plan stops at 3 channels. A fourth channel is a paid Buffer plan, not part of the $22.
A Buffer link is not enough
A web address does not let On Socials post. In Buffer, open Settings, then API, and copy the key. Paste that key on the desk and save. Post this then puts the caption in your Buffer queue, on the channel you connected. Instagram and TikTok still need a picture on the post.
What does On Socials read on its own?
Your website, your public Google reviews, and the public posts, likes, and comments on the pages you linked. If a comment or a like count is behind a login, On Socials cannot see it, and it will not guess one.
Who is winning nearby?
Before the week is written, On Socials looks up the highest-rated business of your trade in your town, and the ones with the most public followers. It learns the shape of what they post. It does not copy their words.
What if a line is made up?
A rating, a review, or a number that was not on your website, your Google reviews, or your socials gets a warning. You approve it before it goes anywhere.
